It’s true. I know what you’re thinking. You probably assumed anyone handling food would be required to wear gloves. But in fact, this is not the case. Most Domino’s employees do not wear gloves.

Wearing gloves is is not a requirement for employees. And even using them does not guarantee cleanliness. If you touch something dirty while wearing gloves, it can just as easily be spread elsewhere as without them.

There are obvious exceptions though. This includes anyone engaged in cleaning. Would you really want to see an employee take out the trash or clean the bathroom without gloves on their hands? Neither would I.

There are a few reasons why the employees at Domino’s may not wear gloves. One possible reason includes personal preference. If they are not required, they may choose not to wear them based on comfort. There may also be the belief that gloves are not necessary for the job.

Finally. all restaurants including Domino’s have a policy about employees washing their hands after using the bathroom. I’m sure this comes as no surprise to you as the signs are in every bathroom.

In conclusion, what do you think about this? Should companies provide gloves and require their employees to wear them? Or is washing your hands frequently enough?
